DESCRIPTION:The Glenview 4th of July Committee invites the community to partner with us in celebrating Independence\n\nDay with a very special program. For 2020 the Glenview Park District will host a "reverse" parade on Saturday\, July 4th\, at 10:00 am on the grounds of Community Park West. Join the fun with a reformatted parade! Instead of having the traditional parade move on a set route past crowds of people\, we are modifying the parade so our community can celebrate by doing a reverse parade.\n\n \n\nIn a reverse parade\, residents can decorate their vehicles and visit Community Park West\, where businesses\, community groups and other local organizations will be setting up stationary "floats". Vehicles will be able to drive through to both see and become part of the parade and lasting roughly 2 hours. Space is limited so sign up soon. No cost to participate.
