DESCRIPTION:For over 50 years\, the Men and Women's Association of Aurora Advocate Lutheran General Hospital has supported the patients\, families and community.  Our mission has been and still is to provide philanthropic support for programs and services for the hospital.  We have funded various Health & Wellness Programs\, Campus Growth\, Scholarships and Education.  Here is a brief listing of some of the grants we support:  Maine Township D207 School Based Health Center\, Older Adult Services\, Safe Patient Handling and Movement\, Pediatric Celiac Disease\, Adult Down Syndrome Center\, Peds in the Weeds\, Autism Treatment Program\, Trauma Services and Spiritual Care.  In the past 25 years alone\, the MWA has funded over $1.2M in grants.\n\nWe are a hard working all volunteer based board with over 50 members.  100% of all our fund raising efforts go directly to support program and services at the hospital for the community.
