Each year a member of each organization participates on a selection committee that reviews nominations and selects award recipients.\n\n \n\nReservations for the dinner can be made with Sandie Elliott at the Glenview Police Department (847) 901-6100\, located at 2500 East Lake Avenue\, Glenview\, IL 60026. Reservations must be paid for at the time they are placed. The entr e is a chicken and fish combination at $50.00 per person. Arrangements may be made to reserve an entire table\, if desired. Seating is limited to 180 so early reservations are recommended. The name of the school and the grade level must be indicated.)\n\n\n\n 2015 Glenview Public Safety Award\n\n \n\n1.Must be a duly appointed police officer\, firefighter\, or paramedic in the employ of the Village of Glenview.\n\n2.Must have performed an outstanding act or service in the line of duty.\n\n3.Must have accomplishments so outstanding as to justify special recognition.\n\n \n2015 Glenview Public Service Award\n\n\n Must have performed an act of bravery that saved a life or prevented serious injury to a person.\n Must have given direct support to public authorities.\n Must have distinguished themselves by aiding police in the prevention of a crime or in the apprehension of a lawbreaker.\n\n4.Must have promptly reported a fire that prevented loss of life and/or serious property damage.\n\n \n\nNOTE: Fire and police personnel are ineligible in this category.\n\n\n\n \n\nIf you have a nomination in any of the categories\, please send a detailed letter outlining the qualifications of the nominee for the Civic Award.
