DESCRIPTION:Voting Is How This Country Makes Our Voices Be Heard.\n\n \n\nVoting is how this country runs and this is how we make our voices be heard.   To ensure that every citizen has an opportunity to vote\, the League of Women Voters of Glenview has set up two Voter Registration Events.  They are:\n\n \n\n	Saturday\, Oct 1 from 9-12 at the Glenview Park Center\n	Monday\, Oct 10 from 4-8 at the Glenview Public Library\n\nThere will also be registration at Glenbrook South High School\, Thursday Oct 6 from 10:45-1:15 and Glenbrook North High School on Friday Oct 7 from 10:45-1:15 pm.  In addition registration will be held for Glenbrook Off-Campus -- Wednesday Oct 5 from 11:55-12:30 and Glenbrook Evening School -- Wednesday Oct 5 from 6:30-7:30pm.  Members of the League of Women Voters will be offering voter registration for eligible students\, faculty and staff.\n\n \n\nPeople wanting to register must be US citizens who will be 18 years old by Nov. 8th.  They must bring 2 forms of ID\, one of which must have their current address\n\n \n\n	\n		\n			Illinois' residents may register in person at the office of the election authority\, at Driver's license facilities\, with deputy registrars who are appointed in each jurisdiction (such as the events listed above)\, or via mail using the Illinois Voter Registration Application available in English and Spanish.\n\n			\n\n			\n\n			Elected officials make decisions about things that are important to you\, including your job\, your health care\, your environment and your security. Voting is your chance to choose the decision makers and tell them what you want.  Make your voice heard on Election Day! Get Registered! Get Educated!
