SUMMARY:Health & Wellness and Senior Group Networking After Hours
DESCRIPTION:Let us show you how to approach the holidays from a more mindful place\, reduce stress\, eat healthy and demonstrate tools you can use to help stay healthy . We will help keep you calm by teaching interactive breathing techniques and a chocolate exercise! \n\n\n\nStress can affect your body\, your thoughts and feelings\, and your behavior. It can also interfere with our energy\, focus\, and judgement. Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can help give you a jump start on managing them. When we are able to manage our stress our body thanks us for it. Managing stress can improve your mood\, boost immune function\, promote longevity\, and reduce chronic conditions. \n\n\n\nPeople have gotten relief from Acupuncture for thousands of years. Not only for pain relief\, but other areas as well e.g. Stomach & digestive problems\, sleep issues\, and stress relief. When the Qi (energy) doesn't flow\, or gets stuck\, the body also gets stuck. When you're stressed and anxious\, ever get the feeling that you can't move forward? Feel stuck? Acupuncture is about moving the Qi. The beauty of acupuncture is that it is a natural\, chemical free way of addressing health issues. You don't need to worry about drug interactions or negative side effects. Acupuncture gets your Qi moving\, and allows the body to heal itself and restore quality of life. \n\n\n\nPlease RSVP by November 8th to Meghan Kearney at 847-724-0900 or by emailing at meghan@glenviewchamber.com.
