About Us
Since 1978, our gastroenterologists have served patients across Illinois, building a legacy of exceptional patient care, continuous quality improvement, and innovative treatments. In 2010, this commitment led to the formation of Illinois Gastroenterology Group (IGG) through the merger of Elgin Gastroenterology, Lake Shore Gastroenterology, and Northwest Gastroenterologists. Over the following years, additional groups joined, including Midwest Center for Digestive Health in 2011, Gastrointestinal Health Associates of Geneva in 2013, and North Shore Gastroenterology in 2014. This collective vision culminated in the creation of GI Alliance in 2019, which has since grown into the largest independent gastroenterology practice in the U.S.
All of our gastro clinics offer a wide range of GI services. Our team is proud to be amongst the nation’s most trusted GI resources for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of GI diseases and more. All of our board-certified providers at GI Alliance of Illinois offer cutting-edge treatment from individuals who have received advanced training in the field. Our GI specialists are committed to providing our patients with compassion, respect, and professional care.
Our team of skilled GI specialists assists patients with achieving their optimal GI health through diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of GI conditions that range from colon cancer screening, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease—Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, liver disease, and fatty liver.
