3 Takeaway Messages:
1) Parents are often very well-intended, but their well-intended efforts often lead to unintended negative consequences including undermining their child?s ability to develop confidence, skills, and competencies.
2) Growth Mindset is a powerful tool that can help parents in their work of parenting, and can be utilized to break down ?perfectionistic? tendencies in both children and adults.
3) Mentoring your child in technology use is as important, if not more important than monitoring your child?s technology use.
