-Starting at $15/hour
-Hands-on work caring for dogs in a busy animal shelter
🐶 What Does a Caregiver Do?
-Our Caregivers help keep our shelter clean, organized, and running smoothly while ensuring our dogs receive the daily care they need. Responsibilities include:
-Feeding dogs and providing fresh water
-Cleaning kennels, laundry, and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment
-Safely handling dogs during daily care routines
-Administering medications according to established instructions
-Monitoring dogs and communicating any health or behavioral concerns to the team
-Working collaboratively with coworkers to keep daily shelter operations running smoothly
Experience administering medications is a plus, but not required! We’re happy to train the right person. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced animal shelter environment.
