Glenview Chamber Honors Exceptional Individuals For Business & Business Person of the Year Awards

Glenview Chamber of Commerce celebrates the Business of the Year, Wintrust Community Banks and the Business Person of the Year, Kevin Christell of Edward Jones – Christell/Ryder. We'd like to honor these individuals who have continually served the community, although there are certainly countless other businesses in Glenview that have stepped up and made a difference. Wintrust Community Banks support goes far beyond financial contributions – their steady visibility, purpose and drive to support local businesses and residents alike is unparalleled. Wintrust staff consistently supports local programs, events and non-profit initiatives that strengthen Glenview as a whole. Wintrust staff are known for being actively engaged and genuinely dedicated to community service within the Glenview community. They have served in multiple capacities as Chamber Board Members, Ambassadors, Leadership Glenview sponsors and moderators, Kiwanis Club, Northfield Township Food Pantry and other notable organizations.

Additionally, Kevin Christell, of Edward Jones – Christell/Ryder, has been awarded 2025 Business Person of the Year.  Kevin is a 41-plus-year Glenview business owner who has been actively contributing since day one. With heavy involvement in both community and civic activities including Glenview Chamber, Kiwanis Club, Glenview Park Foundation, Glenview Park District July 4th Committee and Northfield Township Food Pantry, he is a selfless volunteer who is always giving his time and talents and serving humbly. Kevin embodies the true spirit of this award.

The Chamber recognized the winners at the Business After Hours & Awards event on January 14.  This event was held at Valley Lo Club and sponsored by Busey Bank. In the meantime, please help us celebrate these great people and organizations who epitomize our mantra Shop Local, Love Local.
