Please join us for an afternoon of Art & Vision, from 12pm - 4pm, featuring pieces from around the world that you can purchase through our silent auction.
At 1 pm, listen to Dr. James G. Ravin discuss how eye disease has affected many important artists through his book, The Artist’s Eyes: Vision and the History of Art. You will also have the opportunity to purchase The Artist’s Eyes and have Dr. Ravin sign. Rachel Dewoskin, author of Blind, and Board Member, Larry Broutman, author of Chicago Unleashed, will also be present.
Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and a drawing, while browsing the unique artwork.
While there is no cost to attend this event, donations to The Chicago Lighthouse are always welcome.
Proceeds raised from this event will help support The Chicago Lighthouse North in Glenview bringing the same world-class programs and services of The Chicago Lighthouse to people of all ages in the north and northwest suburbs who are blind or visually impaired.
