Corn Roast Benefitting the Northfield Township Food Pantry
Come to the annual Corn Roast benefitting the Northfield Township Food Pantry on Saturday, August 23rd from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Northfield Farmers’ Market located at 6 Happ Road (across from New Trier High School’s Northfield Campus).
As you shop and explore the market make sure to stop by the Pantry’s booth to enjoy or take home delicious freshly roasted local corn. All proceeds from corn sales benefit the Pantry.
The Northfield Township Food Pantry assists residents of Glenview, Northfield and Northbrook who are unable to provide enough food for themselves and their families. Each month over 600 families are eligible to visit the Pantry to receive perishable and non-perishable food items and grocery store gift cards.
