Board Meeting Lunch Second Thursday of every month
Hosts have the opportunity to share information with the Board about their business prior to the board meeting.
You will need to provide:
A private space for 18
Food – a light lunch of sandwiches salad and beverages (water, tea, soda)
Presentation – A 2-3 minute presentation from the host will come at the beginning of the meeting. Tours can also be incorporated into the event after the meeting.
Women’s Networking Lunch Every other month on a Tuesday
These bi monthly events are well attended and enjoyed by participants. This is a networking event for attendees. Host are not expected to offer a long presentation—if you have a topic you want to share then you should look at hosting a lunch and learn, see below.
You will be given a few minutes to introduce yourself and your business, as well as provide a tour of the facilities at the conclusion of the lunch. A space for 30-40 to sit, eat and share is necessary.
We see a great turnout when our hosts provide lunch to the attendees.
- You provide lunch
- For restaurants: you can provide a reduced price lunch ($10 or less total inclusive of tax and tip to be collected by the host)
The Lunch and Learn Series offers educational presentations that are helpful for anyone involved with a business, from owners and managers to entry-level employees. As host you will provide the space and speaker for the session. We want to offer speakers on a variety of topics ranging from social media training, healthcare issues, financial information legal areas, creativity in the workplace, and other topics where your business may be our expert. If you cannot provide the space for 20-30 people, you may want to partner with another Chamber member to provide the presentation.
