FLIGHT FEST!!

The Glenview Park District is proud to present the 
inaugural Flight Fest being held at Gallery Park (Patriot and Navy Blvds.) on Saturday, 
September 27 from 1-9:30 p.m. Bring your family and friends to celebrate Glenview’s aviation 
history and take a walk down memory lane! Flight Fest kicks off at 1 p.m. with a special 
recognition ceremony honoring the past and present men and women in the United States Armed 
Forces. From 1-6 p.m., participate in Glenview Jr. Flight Academy kids’ activities, Eurobungy, 
inflatables, rock climbing wall, hot air balloon and much more. In addition, there will be a 
traveling naval base museum with historical photos and memorabilia, along with viewings of the
feature film, “Wings Over Glenview.” Listen to live music until 9:00 p.m. featuring Bill 
O’Connell Big Band, Serendipity (teen band), Classical Blast (unique entertainment for all), 
Billy Croft & the 5 Alarm Band (country music) and 7th Heaven (pop music).
