GenX Takeover Comedy Tour

North Shore Center for the Performing Arts welcomes the GenX Takeover Comedy Tour to the George Van Dusen Theatre on Sunday, February 7, 2027, at 7:30 PM. Featuring four popular social media personalities, the tour brings the humor, memories, and cultural touchstones of Generation X to the stage.

Tickets start at $55 and go on sale to the public Friday, October 23, at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.com. North Shore Center presale access begins Wednesday, October 21, at 10 AM using code FUNNY.

Created by four Gen X entertainers who built devoted online audiences through comedy and nostalgia, GenX Takeover celebrates a generation that grew up before smartphones, social media, and constant connectivity.

Following its inaugural Nashville event in September 2024, the production continues bringing its community together through live entertainment.

The lineup features The Real Slim Sherri, whose unfiltered humor has attracted nearly seven million social media followers; Dadbod Veteran (Jon Wellington), known for his viral observations about growing up before modern technology; Kelly Manno, whose energetic personality and relatable comedy have built a loyal online following; and “The Professor” Nick Harrison, a former educator and entertainer recognized for his musical comedy and appearances on NBC and WWE programming.

Award-winning impressionist Justin Rupple, known for America's Got Talent and Dana Carvey's First Impressions, hosts the performance, with Juvany “JoJo” Malagar serving as musical director.

Blending comedy, music, storytelling, and shared nostalgia, the tour invites audiences to revisit the experiences that defined Generation X, from childhood memories and pop culture to the everyday absurdities of modern life.
