Family Fun Glides Into Downtown Glenview With New Event - Fall In Love With Downtown Glenview
In collaboration with the Village of Glenview and Friends of Downtown Glenview, Glenview Chamber is inviting families, friends, and neighbors to Fall In Love With Downtown Glenview. Attendees will glide into a fun-filled winter afternoon at the former Patio Shops now public parking lot located at 1755 Glenview Road with a special one-day-only iceless skating rink, open to the public on Saturday, February 28, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This unique event offers the joy of skating without the difficulty of navigating the ice, making it perfect for all ages and skill levels. The iceless skating rink will be accompanied by a lively lineup of activities designed to entertain the whole family. In addition to skating, attendees can enjoy:
- Food and beverages available for purchase from local vendors Forza Meats and Dip & Sip Donuts
- Kids’ activities including a kids’ curling station and games
- Raffles featuring local restaurant and retailer gift cards
- Meet the Jackman Bear
The event is free to attend and provides a fresh, playful way for the community to come together and experience downtown Glenview during the winter months with the hope of people visiting the vibrant and growing restaurant scene in Glenview. As a free public event, with a door donation benefiting Northfield Township Food Pantry, Fall in Love With Downtown Glenviewis funded by our generous sponsors including:
