On February 7, 2019, the Village Trustees voted to opt back into the Cook County Minimum Wage and Sick Leave Ordinances, effective July 1, 2019. The Ordinances will apply to all Glenview businesses that employ at least one covered employee, and to help its members understand the implications of the opt-in vote and also prepare for the July 1, 2019 effective date, the Chamber is hosting a lunch and learn on February 19, 2019. Matthew Brown from Jackson Lewis P.C. will discuss the requirements of these Ordinances and how your businesses can best prepare to comply with them. The presentation is meant for all Chamber members. Attorney participants will also receive CLE credit. Lunch will be provided.
